It’s a controversial Afrikaans- rock album that speaks to the soul and creates a new genre and an alternative to the usual Afrikaans albums. They label themselves as Afrikaners and the song “My Label is Afrikaans” also makes the statement for Afrikaans quite obvious. The music moves in your veins and some of the piano songs makes your body groove to the tune. The lyrics are all written from the heart and each tells its own story.

BRINGIN’ DA’ YOWZAH!!! is anything but a conventional Hip-Hop album and at the same time it is the quintessential Hip-Hop album. There is no glitter here. BuKristel is an accomplished musician. She has made guest appearances on e-TV’s “Backstage” (2005), with Watershed on KykNet (2000) and recently appeared as a violinist on the Egoli set (2006/7). She also has extensive experience in performing for large corporate events. Kristel is proficient playing in different musical genres, from classical to jazz, Celtic to rock and funky dance to local African styles. Music combinations can include; solo violin, violin and backtracks, violin and piano, violin and guitar and two violins. Her Instruments include acoustic and electric violins, including a custom-made tin-can electric violin crafted by AfriCan in Cape Town.
