C Kruis
DagNag - Diverse alternative- rock praise and worship that varies from quiet melodic intermissions to a more hard- rock feel and breathtaking vocals. This is one way of describing the new and easy- listening sound of C- Kruis Music. The music is true to C- Kruis’ unique style and bursting with energy and creativity. Dag en Nag is dynamic and appropriate for young and old to enjoy. Listening to the album you’ll find yourself constantly in another world, thinking of life and what it means to live life as it is and still enjoy the ride. Even though some of the songs are rock with a bit of hard- rock, they are all presenting positive thinking and hope for tomorrow. Thus, an album that doesn’t hide the optimism, which is of core value to the well- being of the human mind.

Marinda Griebenouw
'n Stukkie Hemel - The music speaks of hope, joy, life, miracles and within the golden thread, weaved by a stunning vocal and breathtaking arrangements, this album is a must for every one who loves beautiful easy listening music. The album includes a stunning new composition written by Marinda and arranged by Johan Heystek, the title track called -‘n Stukkie Hemel -and refreshing arrangements of SA’s most loved songs, “Gebed” (Koos du Plessis) and “Houtkruis” (Prophet).

Kaktus
Klaargebrande Kers - This album creates a nostalgic atmosphere where you dream of your first kiss, the lover you never met and a world where everything is perfect. The vocals are so brilliant that it makes you want to listen to the words. The songs tells tales of broken hearts that was healed and the ups and downs of love and life, but still extremely positive towards life. It’s a controversial Afrikaans- rock album that speaks to the soul and creates a new genre and an alternative to the usual Afrikaans albums. They label themselves as Afrikaners and the song “My Label is Afrikaans” also makes the statement for Afrikaans quite obvious. The music moves in your veins and some of the piano songs makes your body groove to the tune. The lyrics are all written from the heart and each tells its own story.

Dedicated
Knowledge of Hope - Everything (track one) starts the album with, reggae guitars, grooving rhythms and a timeless rap sets the mood for a rocking good time. Just before the heavy guitars gets too much the compilation of the album changes and takes you to a tearful balled called “I miss you”. The album is filled with soulful lyrics and inventive arrangements that takes you on a journey through the thoughts of a broken man who saw the light on the end of a dark day. The music and arrangements compliments the lyrics and helps to tell stories of loss, hope and of overcoming negative thoughts and feelings. A well produced and nicely mixed album giving SA a taste of an international quality production from our local teams.

Davine
Oase - She sings ballads, art songs, praise and worship songs, as well as gospel cabaret. The out- of- the- ordinary music makes you feel in the mood to jump up and sing along.

Cee-Rock “The Fury”
BRINGIN’ DA’ YOWZAH!!! is anything but a conventional Hip-Hop album and at the same time it is the quintessential Hip-Hop album. There is no glitter here. No oiled-down girls oozing out of bikinis by the swimming pool. Fury’s rhymes are about the common man, and it takes anything but a common man to be able to articulate this. This is a naked album. There is nowhere to hide between the grooves.

envelope
Stay - Even before the release of their first album, critics unanimously hailed their music with phrases such as “very inventive”, “catchy” “rare naturalness” and “they play and write great songs”. The leading newspaper in Denmark recently named them as “...one of the two most talented bands in Denmark...” The album takes you back a few years and have the groove and feel of the Bee-Gee’s with a modern sound to it. Probably the best alternative pop/rock album to hit the shelves for a long time.

Discovery Christian Life Centre
glorious - a brand new praise and worship album by the worship team of the Discovery Christian Life Centre. The music give’s a hint of Hillsong as well as Vineyard but with its own new flavour. Therefore familiarity with a fresh taste. With powerful lyrics and easy singable tunes this album is the perfect tool for any home church to use for worship time on any occasion and it really takes you on a journey straight to Gods inner chamber. The songs are also perfectly suited for use by worship teams in any church that is longing for some honest singable songs which the body of Christ can sing and enjoy.

PRESTIGE SEVENS
on the 7th day - a well balanced Gospel album with a real African vibe. The music has tastes of contemporary worship, jazz, African and acapella. The jazz arrangement of the old classic Blessed Assurance is also a hit. This album is sure to be enjoyed by both contemporary and traditional music lovers. It doesn’t only have fantastic musicianship but the new songs like We Humble Ourselves also leaves you with a taste of reverence before our Father.

Victory Voice Kids
My oe is op U - The term “Kiddies Music” gets a complete face lift with this album. Gone are the days when music aimed at children sounded like it’s stuck in the 80’s. With this revolutionary album, young people can connect with their peers on a whole new level.
Sung by kids, for kids, this album has a true relevance for the youth of today long since seen in the children’s music market. The group consists of fourteen teenagers between the ages of 11 and 17, and you can feel the energy of youth burst through in every song. Don’t let the term “youth” fool you though; some of these youngsters have been a part of this group for over 10 years. This combination of youth and experience gives the album a truly modern Kids-Praise-&-Worship foundation, with a pop/rock structure that will communicate to kids of all ages. A modern Sing-Along album.

Veronique
As I Am - Watching Idols 2005, like me, you might have been wondering what “V’s” (Veronique Lalouette’s) album will sound like. You might have expected a pop album coming from the “Pop Idols” competition, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised when relaxing to the amazing natural adult contemporary sound of As I Am, with touches of Jazz, R&B and even featuring internationally acclaimed US Rap artist, Cee-Rock “The Fury,” on one of the songs. Not only is Veronique a brilliant singer with tasteful, easy listening songs, but browsing through the cover you’ll find yourself dazzled with the real “Idol” look. As I Am is truly music for the masses and will be welcomed into the homes of just to say, everyone.

Chil
True Life - Vibrant Praise-&-Worship infused with the modern sounds of rock and acoustic pop, this is not your average church band. With it’s easy to learn words, God-inspired message, and foot-tapping beat; this album will take you on a journey of inspiration, joy, devotion and divine moments of worship. It will have you singing along to every word, and before long you’ll have your hands in the air and eyes closed, just enjoying the moment. (NOT recommended listening whilst driving.)
